The Higher Certificate in Professional Rescue Centre Management is our most popular training qualification for people with an interest in any aspect of dog rescue, rescue centre management and the effective rehoming of rescue dogs. It has relevance for professionals and volunteers in the UK and beyond including:

  • Rescue Centre Employees
  • Rescue Centre Trustees
  • Volunteers in rescue organisations
  • Individuals interested in welfare of dogs

This certificate is for individuals with experience of dog ownership and/or other dog training disciplines. A prerequisite for the course is access to rescue centre facilities of some form. You can study around your current work schedule making these courses flexible

Before starting this Higher Certificate you need to complete the prerequisite course shown below. Those with six months or more experience may forego this course, for more details please see the grey button below.

In order to gain the Certificate in Professional Dog Training you need to complete the three courses shown below.

Completing the Certificate allows you to apply for ‘Trainer’ membership of the Guild of Dog Trainers

This Higher Certificate course can be used as a pathway to joining the Canine & Feline Behaviour Association (CFBA) – Britain’s largest canine specific behaviour association
